Polyplus HTP® is an excellent fence for horses and here's why: Bare high tensile wire fence can be dangerous, with horses getting tangled in the wire and slicing themselves. However, this safety coated fence consists of a 12 1/2 ga. high tensile wire that is completely embedded in a thick coating of polymer -- increasing visibility and decreasing the chances of a horse getting injured. While no fence is 100% guaranteed to be safe for horses -- since we all know they get into everything--we think this is a great alternative to bare wire and it looks beautiful, too. This fence is manufactured by the same great company that makes the Centaur HTP® flexible rail fence.
